Is it worth getting a heat-sink/CPU fan instead of stock??

I am purchasing the AMD FX6300 (comes with stock fan) and i have heard rumors that this stock fan over heats your PC, is this true? I am not a hardcore gamer or anything but here are the other specs:
8gb RAM
1tb storage
amd r9 270x

No it will not "overheat your PC" It will be fine. It will be louder than an aftermerket option, but it will certainly not fry the computer.

If you want an aftermarket cooler get a Hyper tx3. Cheap and much better than stock.

fx-6300 is unimpressive until overclocked, and then...awesome. So, you should invest in one.

If you install it properly, do not overclock and have decent case airflow, the stock HSF should work fine.

A couple of weeks after purchasing i should have 3 fans (1 back, 2 front) will this be ok?

The stock HSF should already have paste pre-applied, hence the importance of installing it properly on the first try - once the original application has been ruined by a botched install, you have to scrape it off and start clean with aftermarket paste.
