Hey Guys!
Im at a standstill.
I have 150$ in prepaid visas that I'm looking to use on my computer
I have no issue with the load speeds of my HDD but I mean it could be faster.

My current rig is:

fx-6300 not overclocked (will be overclocking soon)
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 motherboard
Asetek all in one liquid cooler
Msi R9 270x
1tb seagate barracuda
750 rosewill Hive

Do you think its worth spending money on an SSD if the current speeds are fine? (for me anyway)

If I should get one, which do you suggest?
Thanks,
~Leonard

Solution
depending on the size yes. 250gig + sure get 1, anything smaller dont bother unless its really really cheap as they will be full after a few games are installed...
(gta5 for instance will take up 68gig when it arrives)
You think you're fine with the speeds now but you'll catch the SSD bug if you get one 😛 It depends what capacity you want, the Crucial MX100 and OCZ ARC 100 are excellent budget SSD's or you can go out all and get something like a Samsung 850 EVO or a SanDisk Extreme Pro.

sure, and you do not have to put all your games in the ssd (if the space is limited), just put there some of your favorite games (or those that takes a long time to load)
use it for os and some games and you are golden. my advise, do not worry about getting the fastest, even budget ssd's are A LOT faster then mechanical drives. i have a new ssd (sata3) and an old sata2, and i cannot tell the difference unless i benchmark

the crucial drive has gotten good reviews and even though they have changed some of the internals for different nands they are still well rated so yeah if thats your budget then go for it.
you should however be able to find an evo of the same size for a similar price.
its a slightly better drive.
