[SOLVED] Is it worth getting the 10600 over the 10600k if i dont plan to overclock?

Solution
Both cpu is identical at max clocks (10600 has lower power consumption) The main difference is if u go to Z 490 board and use faster ram even if u dont OC u will get better results with faster ram, so if u get z 490 board get the K cpu. I would prefer 10600K cause even if u dont know to oc now u might learn in the future with the 10600 u are at the peak from the start and thats it.

Not necessarily. Even if you don't OC, the K skew is a faster out of the box solution. You don't have to put it on a Z chipset, although I would be sure w/e selection you make there still has good power delivery.

I would overclock if I knew how but I wouldn't know where to begin if I'm honest.

The difference between the 2 is £50 but the 10600 has a lower base clock compared to the 10600k.

Not sure what to do on this one.

Thanks
