I recently scratched all the dust off my old gaming rig to find out my graphics card has had enough. I've been out of the seen in a long time.
Just wondering if it's worth an upgrade or not I have a budget of $800 AUD

Current hardware
Gigabyte G31M-ES2L Mother Board
Intel core 2 duo E7400 2.80 GHZ
4 GB of Ram
Ati Radeon hd 4800 gpu
750 psu 20amp 12v rail

The games I play a pretty much every RTS title you can think old and new as well mwo, wow and the sims 4.

Any help is greatly appreciated thanks in advance

The choice to go for an upgrade or not is very personal. If your computer is able to do whatever it is that you want to do with it then you do not need an upgrade.
However, if you feel that your computer struggles I would suggest you go for a ryzen 1200 (or even a 1400 to get those 8 threads) a B350 mobo and at least 8Gb of RAM.
As for the GPU,right now the best deals in my country are the GTX 1050 (non Ti), the RX 560 and the GTX 1060 3Gb.
