Is it worth it for me to get a cheap grafics card

biostar a58md
8gig 1600 memory

I'm using the onboard video now. don't do much gaming but do use photoshop. I don't want to spend $100+ on a video card. But is it worth it for me to spend $50 on one, or just use the onboard one. I guess the question is will a $50 card be that much of an improvement. I could get a gt-730 or a r7-240 but I'm not even sure if I want to spend that much

240 or gt 730 would better than onboard. It's not ideal, but you will need a system upgrade otherwise.

Definitely, as it stands pairing that CPU with that GPU will result in bottleneck, meaning that your GPU won't be able to run at its highest speeds due to the CPU speeds.

100% then after get a better gpu the best cpu i can think of off the top of my head for you is a a10 6800k

Honestly even the a10 is not a good cpu for today's games ultimately i think you would benefit more from just building a new computer with an i5

For running Photoshop, a CPU upgrade from an A4 is way better than a new video card. An A8 or A10 CPU will be pricier than a cheap video cad but you will get an overall speed boost in the system not just in video speed.

thats true a good build would be a gtx 950 a 600w psu 8gb ram and a i3 6300

I m going to just upgrade my cpu for now. I think a a8-7650k($90) or a a10-6800k ($115) (Newegg prices) upgrade makes the most sense, that was my original plan when I built the pc in anyway. I'll look around and watch prices.
