I have been doing a lot of reading about building a gaming PC for under 1,000$. I read the guide on this forums as well.
However, I was wondering if it would be worth it for me to just upgrade my GPU? Or is there a lot more I would have to upgrade?
Also, can the 1,000$ even get me a good gaming experience??
I would like to be able to play Battlefield 3 at decent graphics without lag, and Rome 2 Total war as well. Currently I have to play it at lowest settings, and still lags like hell!!!
Thanks so much guys!!!
Here's what I got ( let me know if you need more info):
- Studio XPS 8100
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 870 @ 2.93GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.9GHz
Memory: 16384MB RAM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 4067MB (Had radeon 5770 but it overheated)
Power: 350 Watts (I know I will probably need to upgrade this for sure too)
