Is It Worth It To Pay 10 Extra Dollars for a 2gb graphics card rather than a one gb graphics card

Solution
If it's within your budget, there's really no reason not to go with the 2GB card, but it's not like you're going to be playing any high-end games at ultra settings with either of those cards. If all you're doing is looking at spreadsheets, word documents, and surfing the web, then that extra $10 might be better used elsewhere. If you intend to game with this system, then, as I7Baby states, it's going to depend on what games and what settings.

It's debatable that you'll see any benefit as that GPU is not particularly fast (regardless of how much memory you throw at it). The memory bus is also rather narrow so the memory isn't terribly fast. At least both models are GDDR5.

For the cost of skipping a fast food meal or two its hard to argue against. If gaming is a priority I'd try to see if you can fit a slightly higher end video card into your budget.
