Is it worth it to upgrade from a GTX 750ti to a GTX 950 or r7 370?

I have a PC with a 400w PSU and a GTX 750 ti. I want to upgrade to be able to run games better but have around a 200 dollar budget. Should I get the GTX 950 or R7 370 OR another card entirely? (I would like to try to keep my current psu, but could stretch for a little above 200)

Can you list all of the current parts in your system? Yes the 370 or 950 would be a pretty big upgrade for you. You could get one and also buy a new psu at the same time for $200. You could probably even get a GTX960 or R9 380 and psu.

Wow! thanks for the fast answer! Here's my list of parts-

i5 4460
8GB ram
1 TB HDD
Soly Tech (I think) 400w PSU
Gigabyte motherboard

And I've heard the 960 isn't worth it's price, what do you think?

Please list the full system specs, including power supply, case and motherboard.

Although I do agree that the R7 370 and GTX 950 would be an upgrade from the GTX 750 Ti, from a price/performance standpoint I personally wouldn't make this upgrade. How much money do you have in your budget though? Perhaps we can find something faster within your price range.

This is $233 before rebate. If that's too much, you could easily afford a GTX950.

Updated it. I don't know the model of my case though. It's an Ibuypower case.

Ok thanks, I think i'll go with one of these two. Would I need a new PSU for the 950 though? And is this one good? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202151&cm_re=r9_380-_-14-202-151-_-Product

OK thanks! I think i might save a little more and get the 380 and the new PSU. is this a good version of the card? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202151&cm_re=r9_380-_-14-202-151-_-Product

My 750ti is about 9 inches I think and it has about 1 or 2 inches to spare. should I get a normal one or this compact one?

Yes the R9 380 suggestion above is much better. Much better for what you pay into it.

The EVGA 600B PSU is okay, but not quite as good as the Seasonic. A quality EVGA PSU is simply going to cost you a little more, because they have become well known and so they have greater demand. I would say part of the cost is due to quality components, but Seasonic also uses high-quality hardware and offer a lower price on its budget-friendly unit. Still, the price gap isn't that big so if you have the extra:
