Right now, I'm running on a Zotac GTX 1060 (6gb) and I'm planning on upgrading on upgrading to a better graphics card, my first choice was the 1080ti, but when the RTX was announced I didn't make my purchase yet. Is it worth it?
Specs:
G.Skill Trident Z RGB (2x8 16gb)
Aorus Ultra Gaming
i7-8700
500w PSU from EVGA (Bronze rating)
Right now I'm running 21.5" triple monitors from ASUS 1080p, but I have a ROG Swift lying around 24.5" monitor @240hz (Bargained for $450 on Facebook market!!!)

Solution
“Worth It” is very subjective. It’s the strongest gpu around but offers poor performance/cost ratio. If money is no object then why not, something like the 1080Ti now offers much better performance per £/$

id suggest to get a 1080ti and a better Psu.
additionally id consider getting a NVME drive for now.

for now the 2080ti's are just way overpriced for 30% more performance over the 1080ti.
wait till the prices drop, sell the 1080ti and than hit it with a 2080ti if you still think you will need it.

the 1080ti should be more than enough for 1080 res. monitors.
maybe this could help you a little more: 2k comparesment on a AAAgame

still, there is always the questions:
do you need it or do you just want it.
