They have the same voltage and timings making them equal. Question is if there is space for the tall heat spreaders on the Corsair because of the CPU cooler

that's just it. I've had tall heat spreaders screw me once and I intentionally stay away from them. Having said that, I usually don't buy ram that has heat spreaders on them. Kind of useless they are since ram doesn't really get hot anymore.......... not as in the past. Nice place for someone to plaster their logo and charge you for the privilege.

i started using mushkin a few years back, never had an issue (purchased over 15 kits), so all other things being equal i would recommend the mushkin.
