I am going to buy the MSI Nvidia 970 Graphics card, and at the moment I have the AMD Radeon R9 270X, is it worth upgrading to this?

Also will this graphics card run well with my specs and not over heat etc?

Well,it's time for a new PSU then.
As your current PSU might die sooner or later. A tier 1,2 class PSU of 550w would be a good upgrade.

It was good but after putting a gtx 970 tho' it can handle the card,but not for too long and might fry your Rig soon,the PSU you gave the link of is also cheap non moduler one,not recommended for cards like gtx 970.
Better to spend on a good unit ones than getting cheap PSUs over and over again after certain amount of times.
