Alright let me first list my current specs for my pc:
Cpu: fx8320(stock speed)
Gpu:Gigabyte gt740 2gb oc edition
Motherboard: 78LMT-usb3
Ram:10gb(2x 4gb, 1x 2gb)
PSU: Seasonic M12II Bronze Series 750W

Now thats out of the I have two questions.

First off im currently looking in to upgrading my Gpu to a R9 390 however my Cpu would bottle neck it unless I overclock it to ~4.5 ghz(From what I've been told) but that would mean I have to upgrade my motherboard too. So is it worth the hassle or should I go for the 970?

And my second question is I'm looking into upgrading from win7 to 10 however I cant find any motherboard drivers for 10 so is better to upgrade the motherboard anyways or stay were I am?

I see no reason why you can't install either a GTX970 or a R9-390 without any other change.
Both are comparable performers and will be a major upgrade in graphics capability.

The FX cores are relatively slow and will be a limitation in some games.
Unfortunately your motherboard will not support overclocking the FX8.

Once you get into changing out motherboards, it is time to change to intel of some flavor. The cores simply are faster.
Most games can only use 2-3 of them.

As to windows 10, I see no urgent need to change from 7 to 10.
The most important of which would be to stop the annoying upgrade requests.

Best to see how you do with a new card first.
