Is it worth it to upgrade to ASUS ROG-STRIX-GTX1070TI-A8G-GAMING for exactly 400 USD from my NITRO + Special Edition RX 590?
I've checked the benchmarks, the card does get outperformed by RTX 2060 super in most benchmarks for a little bit, but that card is like 500 dollars and more here.
Do you think it's wise to upgrade to this or should I wait?

Solution
Are you sure about that? They both come with 6GB on GRam and kind of lower on the benchmarks, otherwise the price on the 5600xt here is like 360$, around 40$ cheaper than the 1070 ti.
1070Ti is an older card, and it will definitely not age well with the future games, as they will be based on NVidia's 2000 and 3000 series and AMD's Big Navi.
Also, while benchmarks show a difference of about 10-15 fps (5600XT being superior) the 1% lows and 0.1% lows give more edge to the 5600XT. 5600XT is a newer card and will definitely be very nice for the next 2-3 years.
6GB VRam is the only downside for 5600XT. But games right now work perfectly fine on 6GB. However, in the next 2-3 years, 6GB may become the minimum requirement...

a 5700xt is beter than that 1070ti and it should also be around that price, then again the 2060 super also should also be priced similarly , I thought my country had crappy prices.
some pple get 1080ti's 2nd hand for that price and that thing beats all of these.
If you think you can manage for some time with the 590, w8 till the new gen of cards roll out or till you can find a better deal.

Oh no, the 5700 xt and the 2060 super are both priced at 550 USD, which is still 150 dollars more.

I've just checked all of the stores here, and it seems that NONE of them have any 1070 or 1080 anymore, and I guess these are like the last few pieces left that's why they dropped the price. Otherwise in my country none of the prices ever drop, no matter how old they are...

1070 gives an equivalent performance as a 1660 Super. But a 1070Ti may give an equivalent of an overclocked 1660Ti. But if you can spend a bit more you can go for a 5600XT. It costs less than a 2060 Super but has equal performance, if not more.

I sometimes buy from other countries..Mainly cause I live in Europe and if I buy from any EU country I don't have to pay taxes for importing, but i make sure I can return it to them for service or refunds/replacements before I order
what country are you in?
In my country VR headsets were like double the price for some models so I just got em from somewhere else :p

Ohhh i was with a plan to buy a VR headset as well, noticed the prices are dramatically lower than 4 or 5 years ago.
I live in Macedonia, we can occasionally get something from Ebay, and very rarely from Amazon, and most things from Aliexpress.
Do you know any other sites, or cheaper sites that ship worldwide?
Newegg is an amazing site, but doesn't ship outside of North America.

But this doesn't mean that a 1070Ti with 8GB will be fine for the next 3 years. Because, as I said, it is an older card. So, 5600XT becomes the obvious choice if you compare it with 1070Ti.
But if the 6GB VRam bothers you, you can go for a 2070 Super or a 5700 (non XT, if you have budget constraints)

Hmmm, I think I'd rather stick to this one, after all my max resolution is 1080p, and this GPU still manages to play games on high/ultra. I was just wondering if it's worth it to grab this one, hence the low price here.
Thank you for the reply!

I meant a 2nd hand site that ur country uses olx which is full of scammers but has versions for other countries and okazii.ro which is okay but its totally romanian and won't ship outside the country , I don't know good 2nd hand sites that ship world wide, other than the popular ones.
And the ones I used for some of my new pc components were ones that had a romanian version, but with the company in another country kind of like this one got a cpu cheaper here.
Can't help more than this. its hard to find good honest deals..I spend days of looking through sites to find smth good.
and our prices almost always get converted to euro 1 to 1 compared to dollars.
