Is it worth the upgrade!?

My system:

Jasmine MSI 7778 motherboard
AMD APU A8-5500 3.2-3.7 GHzTurbo
Radeon HD 7750 -800MHz version
12GB DDR3-1600Mhz
Corsair Builder Series CX600 PSU

Battlefield 3, far cry, metro last night all run at a high setting with a 720p resolution giving me 40+ FPS.

I wanted to know if it was worth the 150$ for the new AMD APU A10-6800k, and if it will improve my FPS by at least 15% since I'm willing to play on 1080p. Or, should I put a bit more money and get the HD Radeon 7870!?

If you plan to play at 1080p, instead of upgrading processor it's better to just get a discrete gpu. The 7870 will be a great option for your games!

the 6800k is not such a big improvement over the 5800k and if u get the 6800k then also u will not see a huge performance boost. It is better to go with a discrete one like the hd7870 or if something lower then the gtx650ti boost.

I'm an AMD fan, I'll stick to the HD 7870. Also, will it become a bottleneck when putting a High-End video card such as the HD 7870 on my current proccesor? Or is my proccesor fine for the upgrade?

Your processor should be fine for a 7870.

nah...ur processor would be fine and is sufficient for a single hd7870. go with the hd7870, hell of a card from amd, like it too
