Is it worth the upgrade?

Im planning to upgrade my r9 270x Dual-X to r9 280x toxic. . Is it worth the upgrade? or should i just save a little more and go for r9 290x. . I currently have Gigabyte 970a DS3p as my mobo and fx 6300 as my processor . . Im planning to upgrade to Gigabyte 990fx ud3 and 8350. . Should i just upgrade to r9 280x toxic? or save a little more for mobo/8350/+ r9 290x? I hope you guys could help me decide. Thanks in advance.

If youre playing at 1080p why upgrade theres only like 3 games on the market you cant completely max out..
