Is it worth the upgrade?

So my current specs are i5 4570
gtx 670 and 8 gb ddr3 ram

is it worth me dropping £700 for an i7 6700 and palit gtx 1060 3gb?

You'd need a new mobo too, and new RAM. Kaby lake motherboards use DDR4. The whole system upgrade isn't worth it in my view. Consider keeping MOBO, CPU and RAM and swapping in a 1080.

I would upgrade to a GTX 1060 6GB and call it a day.

The CPU you have now should handle the new GPU just fine.

As others have said ,leave the CPU and mobo and upgrade the GPU to your liking.
