I'm currently using a delidded 7700k, 1080ti and 16gb 3200 mhz ram. I'm thinking of upgrading to a 3700x. Do you guys think its worth it?
PC is mostly used for gaming

Solution
The 7700K, especially overclocked to 4700 MHz or above, is as of yet no slouch at anything, unless craving perhaps 144 Hz minimums in some of the latest games, where the CPUs with more threads often have an advantage in both minimum and average FPS...

If craving live streaming in addition to gaming, the 7700K's 4c/8t design is not enough, go for the 3700X!
The 7700k is still decent especially with an overclock. As a test if you reduce your games resolution to 720p do you see a significant increase in FPS? If no then it is likely you are being limited by the 7700k in the games you play. If yes then you are not really limited by your cpu and a cpu upgrade is unlikely to add much performance gain.
