Is it worth to upgrade GPU

Hello,

I want to upgrade my GPU from a gtx 970 4gb to a 1080Ti and was wondering if thats going to work with my current build.

Build:
Mohterboard: GA-B250M-DS3H
CPU: intel core i5 7500 3.4 Ghz
RAM: 16 GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance LPX
GPU: GTX 970
Win 10

Am I gonne see any significant improvements in my grapics and frames if I take a 1080 with this build?

upgrade the cpu to an i7 if u are going for a 1080/ti
and make sure ur psu has 500w or above

Unless u upgrade to an 1440p 144hz or 4k monitor ,there is no need for 1080ti and 1080 for 144hz 1080p . Otherwise both are not needed .But you may upgrade to a gtx 1070 which may be long lasting for 1080p for couple of years

After searching for a bit about what GPU people used your i5 with, 1060s and 1070s were widely mentioned as a good choice. 1080 and especially the 1080Ti and over will probably be an overkill for the processor, unless you mean to upgrade later to an i7.
