[SOLVED] Is it worth trying to mod my case?

I have no experience modding but watched a couple of youtube videos about it. I bought a Darkflash case from amazon and was worried about air intake, as the only intake is small on the side, and is covered a bit on the inside by a piece of metal. I was thinking about cutting two holes in the front and I already have a 4 1/2 inch hole saw. Would intake not be a problem on this case, or not worth the risk and effort to mod the case?

That picture was on the newegg page for that case. There are fan mounting holes for two fans in the front.
I wouldn't think that mod was necessary.
