Is it worth upgrading a HD 7870 to a Gtx 1060?

I cant seem to find any good benchmarks. Is it worth upgrading to a gtx 1060 from my current hd 7870?

Tom's Hierarchy Chart places the 1060 4 tiers above the 7870. Since their recommendation is 3 tiers for upgrading, I'd say it was certainly worth it.

The full size 1060's have better cooling, sometimes higher closks, and can be overclocked. the Minis generally can't. That said overclocking does not make a huge performance difference.

Yep The 1060 is around the same performance of the 980 and uses much lower power. So yeah at 1080p you will be able to get a lot more functionality.

Were you considering the GTX 1060 6G or the GTX 1060 3GB?
