Hi to all.
As i asked the question in the title, Is it worth upgrading my pc:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-790FXTA-UD5,
Cpu: Amd Phenom ii x4 965 black edition,
Ram: 4gb ddr3 1600 mhz kingston hyper x ( i know it's low, that's what i'm planning to upgrade to 12 gb ),
Gpu: 6870 asus OC version, ( that's what i'm planning to upgrade too, To r9 270x i will explane why )
Psu Ocz tehnology 500w modxstream pro.

And that is the reason why i want to upgrade to r9 270x coz i dont have psu for 280. Anyway i can upgrade my pc for around max 250euros.. with new card 8gb ram and SSD, i have HDD 7200 WD Caviar Blue and Green. Any suggestions ? :) To sell whole pc and rebuild new one ? for around 500euros? ( i mean selling mine for 250 and + 250), Sorry for my bad spelling ( english ). + i dont want to spend to much for the pc. the current market is crazy. Bulding new stuff every month with abnormal prices.

About the only upgrade you have left for gaming performance increase is the gfx card and the RAM. All AM3 socket CPUs are obsolete now. And your 965BE can be easily OC'ed to get to a bit higher performance anyway. My 965BE reaches 4GHz easily.

Surprisingly, your 500W PSU has the specs to run a GTX 960 4GB card if you want more performance than the R9-270X at a power level that allows you to keep the old PSU.

It would be simple for me to say sell your system and buy a new modern gamer. But being practical, I know spending someones else's money is too easy. Ideally, moving to a new Intel Platform would be best.

Well thanks for the Replay :). Yes i have think the same about selling this Pc. But will i let's say throw 300 euros in noting ? i mean every month new tehnology comes and very fast that new pc will get old let's say 2-3 years and u alrdy have to Upgrade something. And i dont like that. I will consider to move on console for gaming. And keep this pc, i will up 4 gig of ram and cheap ssd 50 euros let's say.
