Hi folks,

I need some advise/suggestion as I'm not sure whether or not to stick with what I got or indeed replace existing RAM.

I got a pre-built PC "MSI Gaming Desktop / Aegis RS 13NUF-439US / Intel Core i7 13th Gen 13700KF (3.40GHz) / 32GB DDR5 / 2 TB PCIe SSD / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti / Windows 11 Pro 64-bit"

Motherboard: MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI - https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-Z790-P-WIFI

It came with this RAM ADATA XPG GAMMIX D10 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 4800Mhz CL40 1.1V AX5U4800C408G-BB10 - In my case its 4 slots of 8GB for a total of 32GB at 4800MHz that's currently installed.

I am not too confident in the quality of this ram, which is expected in prebuilts, so I was thinking of maybe replacing what I got with 2x16GB "Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6400MHz C32 Intel Optimized Desktop Memory (Onboard Voltage Regulation, Custom XMP 3.0 Profiles, Solid Aluminum Heatspreader) or even go for 64GB, but I have a feeling I don't really need that. If its only for gaming and not for any sort of serious programs, would upgrading to 64GB even matter for just gaming, day to day tasks i.e. youtube, music, reading etc. Can somone advise if 4800 is enough or should get highier?

For example on Amazon I see this Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) with these speeds that I could get: 4800, 5200, 5600, 6000, 6200, 6400, 7000MHz. If I trust the description i found for my mother board then it "Supports DDR5 Memory, Dual Channel DDR5 7000+MHz (OC)"

My current:

Can someone please advise if I could just keep the current basic one ADATA XPG GAMMIX D10 32GB (4x8GB) DDR5 4800Mhz or I should at least upgrade that to a 2x16GB corsahair of same speed of 4800Mhz or highier speed or even a 64GB?

Appreciate!

The 2x16@6400 should give a bump don't expect anything dramatic.

32GB should be ample.
