currently using a RX480 8Gb and was wondering if there was any recommendation to upgrade or should i stay with what i have for now
so really anything above a 5700 or 5700xt would only be a really benefit if i was going up to 4K
So this is my current set up for my PCWhat are your system specs?
CPU?
Power Supply?
Motherboard?
Etc.....
With that system, you can pretty much go with any GPU you want.So this is my current set up for my PC
Intel i9 9900K 3.60GHz
AMD Rx 480 8GB
G.SKILL RipJaws V Series 16GB DDR4 2666
Windows 10
MSI MPG Z390 gaming pro carbon LGA 1151
1TB SSD for window's and what not
3TB HDD for game's running at 7500RPM
850WATT corsair power supply
running 1440p at 144HzWith that system, you can pretty much go with any GPU you want.
What resolution are you at?
....because if you are at 1080p......you don't want to waste money with overkill.
If I had the money I would get the RTX 2080 Ti.running 1440p at 144Hz

very intriguing info i will really have to think on it but its looks goodNo the more you pay the better FPS you're going to get but there is a value per dollar spent to consider. For 1440p the 5700 and XT at those prices offer an outstanding value and that points it out even further.
