Is it worth upgrading from i3-4150 to i5-4570 with this build?

My specs are
CPU i3 4150
8GB RAM
nvidia GeForce GTX 950 2GB OC
500GB HDD

Will it boost my gaming experience or will it stay the same? will it work with this build?

Yes it will help those games some. Fallout more so than GTA V?

Try this crank the settings on those games down to minimum. If the FPS is still horrible. A faster CPU will likely help. If the FPS is great. A better GPU will help.

This isn’t always true like with too little RAM or a game way beyond a GPU’s capability. In general it is a decent metric.

You can also install MSI afterburner to turn on the on screen overlay. Then you can view CPU and GPU usage.

Depends on the game. On CPU intensive games it will help some. You'll get more for your money upgrading the GPU.

To me it makes little sense to go from an i3 to an i5 of the same generation. The upgrade is too small. If anything save up for and buy a used i7-4770 through 4790K. That will maximize the useful life of the computer.

Let's say GTA 5, Fallout 4, etc. Would that run any better?

i7-4770 is really expensive for me right now.

Yeah my FPS doesn't change much when I play GTA 5 online even though I put the settings on lowest. it's settled then. Thanks for the help!
