[SOLVED] Is it worth upgrading from i5 2400 to i7 2600?

As the title says, is it worth upgrading to i7 2600 from i5 2400 for 25$?
Also, My motherboard can support i7 2600s but I saw some benchmarks that suggest that i7 2600 is better than i7 2600s, please correct me if I'm wrong
edit: or should I just save and upgrade my motherboard and the cpu instead?

Sure, for $25 I’d do the upgrade. The 2600s is a low power variant of the 2600. The 2600 is faster.
