Is it worth upgrading from i7 3770k to i7 8700k for gaming,editing and streaming

I am planning to upgrade from i7 3770k to i7 8700k..would like to know is it worth it as going with i7 8700k will require me to upgrade my mobo and ram which i am fine with it

i have 1080ti and i feel my cpu is bottlenecking in some areas of gaming and editing

my current config
i7 3770k 3.4 ghz
asus p8z77 deluxe mobo
MSI gtx 1080ti gaming x
16gb vengeance ram 1333mhz
acer predator xb 271hu 2k monitor

My intended config
i7 8700k
MSI z370 gaming m5/carbon pro or Asus z370
16gb ddr4 corsair vengeance
kraken x62 or corsair 100i v2
corsair crystal series 570x

My main purpose is to game at 2k, editing and streaming

it's worth it imo
u will benefit in all the things u mentioned thanks to the: extra cores/threads, higher OC clock and IPC, faster RAM

btw, some friendly suggestion: get a SSD if u don't have one, apps should be snappier if u use it

An 8700K will make a big difference and as constantine says, the SSD will make a huge difference, especially a NVME M.2 X4 SSD..
