Is it Worth Upgrading From the FX 6300 to the i5 4570k?

Hey guys.

These are my specs:

AMD FX 6300
GTX 770
Samsung Pro Evo SSD 120GB
500GB Hard drive
500W 80+ bronze power supply
8GB RAM

I am wondering whether or not it is worth upgrading to the i5 4570k. The most intensive tasks I do on this PC is gaming and I play games like: DayZ, Arma 3, LoL, CS GO, Battlefield, Skyrim and awaiting GTA 5 and Witcher 3.

Is the extra performance worth it? I know worth is subjective but will I get a nice FPS boost?

There is no 4570k just non-K. Well, even an 4460 at 3.2ghz would be faster in anything than your fx 6300. Those are some CPU heavy games you are playing and single-threaded performance on Intel is wastly better than on AMD.

I would say getting an 4690k and overclocking it would be great upgrade. How big is your bugdet?
