Got the motherboard for free, but was unsure because of the limit if I’d be better off buying one. I am on a budget. Upgrade gpu or motherboard kind of budget.
Mainly using pc for surfing web and CS:GO/Valorant.

Build:
Motherboard: ASRock A520M-HDV
CPU: Amd Ryzen 5 5500
GPU: NVIDIA 1650 OC (I want to upgrade to rtx 2060 or rx 6600) suggestions appreciated!
RAM: Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 c16
PSU:Thermaltake 600w PSU
HDD: 500gb wd blue sn570
Case: Zalman S3

Look at the RX 7600 8GB.

If your concern is mostly gaming and desktop use, absolutely not worth it. Memory clocks are about the least impactful upgrades you can do. Generally, it makes sense to upgrade memory when upgrading the entire system (Mobo, CPU, Mem). GPU is usually the most impactful upgrade for gaming, and since your CPU is not that old, that's what I'd look at.

Where did you see this 2400 limit?
