Is it worth upgrading my Asus P8Z77-V Pro?

Hi all,

I've got a computer that's about 3 years old. I've recently upgraded the graphics card (to a 980Ti) and also the cooler (because the last one was causing the chip to overheat).

I've recently come in to a lot of money (around £900) and thought about investing this money in upgrading either my motherboard, chip or RAM. I just wondered if it was worth upgrading any of these (i.e. whether I would see a decent performance increase)?

My current motherboard is an Asus P8Z77-Pro
My current chip is a i7-3770K (not currently over-clocked)
My current RAM is 16GB Kingston Hyper-X Genesis Dual-DDR3 1600MHz, X.M.P

Could you advise on what I should be upgrading next?

Or whether it wouldn't make any real difference at the moment and I'm better waiting until something new comes out etc?

A big thank you for any help you can give me on this 🙂

No way! that 3770k is, and will be quite capable for some time. If you upgrade, you will not see any difference whatsoever.
Get a fast ssd, if you don't have one, but, honestly, with that GPU and that money.. the best thing you could get is an acer x34 predator 😀
you're gonna love that :)

That's practically the best g-sync monitor out there. Its got the perfect balance of size and features. As for the vive.. don't plan on that becoming your main gaming "portal" any time soon.
