I currently have a ECS A780GM-A and I was considering about changing my motherboard to an ASUS M5A97 for a sort of "fresh start" for my PC because it's been acting pretty slow lately. I'm 80% sure it's just my HDD acting up as it has trouble reading sometimes (I got a WD green without doing a little research about it unfortunately) so I got a new one, but would it be worth it to change my motherboard too?
(I'm not worried about over clocking or anything like that if that's what gives the Asus a better advantage.)
