Is it worth upgrading off this motherboard?

Right now I am using a M5A78L-M LX PLUS. I have a AMD FX 4100 and a Radeon HD 6900 with 8 gigs of ram. Would it be worth my time to upgrade my processor to a AMD FX-9590 $269 and a GTX 950 for $169. Or am I better just to save my money and build a new rig all together. I am looking at playing Total War: Warhammer mostly for new games.
Thanks
Mike

So I am better to skip the faster AMD for what appears to be a slower Intel? Sorry I'm not up to speed on AMD vs Intel. Can you explain why one is better then the other?
Thanks
Mike

Intel has been faster clock for clock for a while now, usually about 1.5 as fast per core per Hz. The 6100 will be double the speed of your 4100 minimum, for half the energy.
