Is it worth upgrading RAM on netbook?

Ive just bought an Acer D270 netbook, its not the fastest thing in the world, it has 1GB RAM, if i upgrade to 2GB would that make much difference in speed/multitasking? Or is it not worth the hassle?

Multitasking will be affected, but if you want to use netbook for regular internet surfing then there is no use of upgrading.
