Running the below specs at the moment and I am wanting to know is it worth upgrading my current ram to 3200 from 2400?
I'm unsure if it will make any difference at all.
All my gaming is done on an Acer Predator X34 @1440p

CPU Ryzen 5 1600 OC @3.9 (in open loop never goes above 37c)
MB Asrock Taichi X370
RAM G.Skill 16G(2x8G)F4-2400C15D-16GFX DDR4
GPU Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080 ti (will be adding to open loop later)
Running 2x M.2 sata drives and 2x SSD drives

Apparently it makes quite a difference but I haven't tried myself so I can't verify.
However if you are considering upgrading anyway why not try and see if you can overclock your existing RAM a bit and see what difference that gives you.

Well if you want more fps it should help a bit, but be careful on the RAM you choose as Ryzen can be finicky about the RAM it'll work with.
I avoided the first gen because of that and finally went with a 2700X and some GSkill DDR4 3200 RAM but had to dial the RAM back to 2933 to get the system stable even though AMD apparently improved RAM support with the Zen+

On the other hand if your system is stable, everything runs well, and you are getting enough fps in games, then whats's to be gained really?

I have seen some comparisons on youtube regarding ram speeds when running a gtx 1080 ti and there seems to be a big difference in frames.
I am just not sure if this is is still the case with all the BIOS updates that have been released since these comparison videos were made.
