[SOLVED] is it worth upgrading to 3090?

atm i have i7-9700 with 2080ti , is it worth upgrading to 3090 or should I wait for 4090? as I game mostly on 4k so atm with newer game I'm forced to tweak the settings to get steady 60fps

I'd say hold out until the prices for the RTX3000 series drops, but the first thing you will need to overcome is the limitation in availability, so even if you are old to buy one now, you're going to have to wait at least 3 months into 2021.
