this is worth the extra cash http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0354589 the i 5 2500k version. I mean who doesn't want the better graphics come on its got the intel 3000! thats 1000 more than the 2400. but realistically the $30 is probably worth the extra 200Mhz and the ability to OC in the future if you want. btw the psu is cheaper at microcenter $75 beofre rebate 60 after. http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0361181

EDIT sorry my power supply is the 750W antec. If you want the extra wattage this is a good model and cheaper. still bronze certified

I wouldn't bother waiting. There is no guarantee that the component you want will even be on sale. As an example, here is Newegg's Black Friday listing from last year:

Glacing through that add my vote would be to pick it up, now unless you want to look in to the bulldozer, because those deals seem about on par with what deals are on now.

I just got a i3-2100 and that board at MC this past weekend along with a i5-2500k and this board http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130583 , you could get the i5-2500k and board for $255 like jackspeed said.

Don't know if you plan to crossfire or not but on that giga board the pciex8 slot is the bottom one covering up all your usb headers and will hang over the bottom of the board, I ended up getting it for a single card rig instead of getting a h61/67 board for a few extra bucks for my girls rig. Board felt really flimsy when assembling, was my first giga board I have used, wasn't overly impressed but it runs fine in my fiances tower
