Hi, I'm using Dell laptop which came with this installed software by mine employer. Is this something to spy or control my activity?

I see nothing "offensive" here. Just a tool to manage company owned devices. You should not be performing personal tasks on the system if you don't want your company to monitor those activities.

We've never talked about activity tracing etc. I know the basic rules and didn't use this laptop for personal usage. I'm just using sometimes youtube and some football news websites

Should be fine as long as you don't violate any corporate policies. Personally, I do (and recommend doing) zero personal stuff on my office system.
