Is keeping CPU fan speed on silent ok?

so i got a good cpu cooler and I like to keep it quiet (one reason is because when I masturbate at night I don't want my parents hearing the fan lol.) is it safe to let the CPU get to 60 or 70c? I have it overclocked to 4.5ghz and it idles at about 38c. what is the most i can let the temps go to be unsafe? thx. silent is 30 percent fan speed

Revert your overclock, watching a few friendly videos does not need 4.5ghz, if you are going to run it on silent remember once it start to heat up, it will climb exponetially. Also the tj maxx for your CPU is around 82C 75C is the real danger zone. So I would just buy a new cpu fan, one thats silent, then you dont have to worry.

Also you can put your computer into power saving mode by changing the power options, this wil keep your CPU very quiet without having to rish putting on silent mode.

if you just want keep quet you can install a water cooling
what is your cpu? if you cpu max temp is 90C + i think it is fine to kepp it at 70 C
