Is kingston ram good?

I need to get ram and kingston seems like good price and it fits the color scheme for my computer but there aren't very many reviews about it

that is the computer if that matters. Suggestions would be helpful but I don't like crucial and unless there is a really good argument for g skill then suggest it but thanks in advance for help.

There aren't many memory reviews around. Kingston is a very reputable brand in memory, and will be fine.

DDR3 1600 cas 10 is either old stock or low quality. DDR3 1600 should be cas 9. Kingston is the only company still selling low quality stuff but it's mostly aimed at AMD users so it doesn't matter as AMDs integrated memory controller is of lower quality and is less sensitive.

Haswell does best with the fastest memory you can afford where as that wasn't necessarily true with Sandy and Ivy Bridge. Here is a GSkill Trident X kit of 16GB of DDR3 2400 cas 10 for $10 cheaper than that Kingston.

makes since.. why on earth cas 10 for 1600mhz even cas 9 1866mhz is easily picked up without spending a lot.

The Fury's are a new line and run off PnP rather than the more common XMP, I'd go higher performance, they have another newer line that is pretty nice, the Savage line, uses more conventional XMP, have a 2400 set of 32 GB that I'm testing right now.

Whatever is cheapest starting at 1.6v DDR3 2133 cas 9 or 10. GSkill is usually my choice and I don't know what you wouldn't like Crucial since they are just the consumer division of Micron. Very few companies manufacture RAM modules and Micron is one of the better ones. It's found in Corsiar, GSkill, Kingston etc. I generally avoid brands I haven't heard of and Kingston.
