I'm currently doing my engineering(electronics) and did not take up classes due to personal reasons, now I have a lot of time and want to do something useful before I go back to engineering.
So I was thinking of learning C++ and/or JAVA. I know moderately about C and have interest in programming.
Will learning C++ and/java be useful when i look for jobs? if not, what else can I learn?

I basically want to learn programming as it would help me find jobs in 2 fields (electronics and prog).
any suggestions?

I am not a programmer myself but I do work with a lot of programmers (several work for huge companies that you probably know)

All of them are using C++ and or C#... So my suggestion is probably go with C++

From my understanding, Java is a very slow language and its not used as widely as C++

Hope this answers your question some what! Good luck

Yes it Useful , If u Doing Engineering Better do C Programming , Java is not Needed for ECE Or EEE Department , Each and every Programming languages were Based on C , so Better u study C Programming
