Hi!

I don't know if this is the correct section to post this. i am trying for months to find a way to live stream in Twitch via OBS without having a big FPS impact, but i t is impossible. Is there ANY way at all to achieve this?
f.x. can a capture card help me?
PC and OBS setup details: i7-8700k @5.0ghz
32Gb ram @3200Ghz
RTX-3070 OC
Using ONLY VR (HP Reverb G1)
streaming platform: Twitch 720p, 30fps, NVENC encoder method

* i am pretty sure VR is the problem, but i thought i should ask anyway

Solution
If nvenc causes performance loss just use qsv, plug a monitor into your mobo to make the iGPU show up.

For a capture card you would have to find one that does the recording by itself because a lot of them just send the stream to the CPU or GPU to be encoded.
