Hi,
I like using the low power mode in Windows settings. My temperatures of the laptop are cool and the fans are not loud. But it is setting my CPU speed to the only 1.60GHz, is it harming my CPU? Because I really don't need 4GHz, when I am browsing the internet. When really need 4GHz, for gaming, I will turn the low power mode off.

Solution
Nope, not at all. If anything it's extending the life since you're not running it at full power.

However, I would 'stress' it once in a while to make sure everything gets exercised. A lot of stuff isn't designed to sit these days, and will fail prematurely with prolonged non-use.
