is Macbook air care plan necessary?

I want to buy macbook air 13 inches. It comes with only one year warranty. If i want to extend the warranty to 2 years, it costs me extra 17000. Then it doesnt suit my budget.
Is the care plan of 2 years recommended or would i trust macbook air to function properly?

Wow, new MacBooks only come with 1 year warranty? That sucks.

I would say that unless you are dropping the laptop on a regular basis, or spilling liquids on it, it should be fine for at least 5 years, if not longer. Do those macbook airs even have a fan in them? Less moving parts is good for reliability.

You don't need extended warranty for any of MacBooks. They are extremely reliable. As pointed by Max1s correctly.
