Is Maximus VII Hero worth the money ?

Was first going to go with Asrock z97 extreme4 but i can afford Maximus VII Hero is it really worth they extra money . Will i ever use the extra features as a gamer also i like the color scheme of the Maximus .

If you plan on ocing have have m2 sssd, you can get that, but if you don't then you can get a asus z97 k instead, hero is for overclockers and stuff like that mainly, you can also go sabertooth mk2, that's quite a neutral colour so that will fit in, or the maximus ranger if you live in UK, or the msi gaming 5, or gigabyte z97 g1 sniper, both the boards are red/black also


Was thinking the same but someone might have a different opinion and it will go well with my haf case
