Question Is memory chip incompatibility possible?

Greetings. There are two CORSAIR Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 DDR4 slots with different chips. One hinyx, the second micron. Sometimes they give out bsod. For example, when I use bluesstasks. Both in standard operating mode and when trying to overclock to 3200.

I've seen incompatibility using memory with the exact same chip numbers.....so I think it's possible.

Memory is best bought in matched pairs at the time of purchase for that reason. Manufacturing tolerances and stacking of tolerances, subtle voltage and timing differences can end up more than the memory controller can accomodate.

As above Ive has problems with RAM bought separately with exactly the same model and chips. So yes definitely possible this is the cause of your blue screens.
