Hi, i want to replace the ram for my hp p6-2100 pc. I found a site called memorystock and it seems to sell compatible ram. However i have never seen this site before and it seems shady. Can you guys tell me if it's legitimate?

Even better is the official HP specs on the machine which also confirms the motherboard as well as memory specs and limit of 8GB:

Memorystock is one of the few companies that has been selling ram since the early days of computing. I think we bought our PS/2 30-286 memory upgrade from them. Legit company and great service from what others have told me. I wouldn't hesitate if you want new ram.

But consider buying used ram as it will be much cheaper and is almost considered 'throwaway' for most people these days since it is 4GB ddr3 modules. You should be able to get this for about $15 shipped.

Also, I have another problem. When I ran the cmd prompt for max ram capacity, I got 4 gb. But everything else is telling me i can install more ram. Can anyone help? I have amd a4-3420 apu with radeon(tm) hd graphics, and I can't seem to find my motherboard. I have 64-bit windows 7 home premium.
