Hello!
I want to buy this microphone from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Neewer-Professional-Broadcasting-Recording-Microphone/dp/B00X9OM9AI
I found a few reviews of this microphone and it turns out to be pretty good product.
But I don't know much about microphones.
Can someone plase help me find out if it will work with my soundcard?
My laptop has this microphone plug and microphone includes adapter cable.

Solution
Condenser microphones produce far lower current than dynamic microphones, so unless the mic-in is especially sensitive it will be too quiet without the amp.

That product does come with a xlr to 3.5mm cable, and the manufacturer suggests it works as-is with desktops they've tried but not laptops without the amp, if you boost the level all the way up. So you'll have to try it and see if your laptop can supply at least 5vAC to the mic. If you find you need the amp, you'll also need a xlr to xlr cable to attach that.
Its not directly compatible. Heck, you can't even plug it into the pc; it uses a different connector all together.
Scroll down on the page and you will see the additional items you will need. 48v power source and an xlr to 3.5mm cable.
