Is Microsoft fixing the System hang issue in 8.1?? How to fix system hang?

After upgrading to 8.1 on Wednesday, I've been experiencing loads of system hangs related to chrome. I know this is a problem with 8.1 as well as the shit internet.
I just want to know if Microsoft are actually bloody doing anything !!!
This is just unbearable, I can't use the bloody internet!

Ie seems to last longer but does crash the computer, I don't have Firefox installed as I've always used chrome but I suspect it will be the same

This is ridiculous, my computer is useless because it crashes every 5 minuets, if even that. Really jarring.
Has MS said anything about patches ect...?
Chrome, IE will crash it, or using photoshop, premiere pro or avid. Battlefield 4 often gives RED SCREEN OF DEATHS. Or even if it I is just idle. Good going Microsoft.
