Not really. Unless you have over 100 games, then it's not really worth.

I find 2tb fine but I do a lot of video editing and keep a lot of raw footage - that I have to purge annually.

My son has 2tb but just added a 3tb to keep seasons of walking dead, breaking bad and game of thrones, etc.

So videos eat it up pretty quickly. And a lot of games require huge downloads to get them up to date.
