My system does not boot anymore. I think the motherboard (MSI MS-7599) fried. The crash announced with system freezing (static screen with no reaction to any command). Now it doesn't even turn on the monitor. Inside there wasn't enough dust to justify the crash, so I don't know the cause. The system gave me more than three years of excellent service, with multiboot, 3D games, etc.
Now I'm wondering if I can replace the motherboard alone or if it can be the case that the crash was caused by other defective components. In the latter hypothesis, a new motherboard could get damaged as well.
The assembly includes a Phenom II X4 555 with the four processor unlocked, a 4G RAM module and an MSI N460GTX video card.
