Hello,

As title says my motherboard temperature is high. its idle temperature is 52-55 and it reaches 80 (max) degrees while playing bf3. Are these temperature ok? Because in 2008 my MB got burned so i dont want that to happen again.

My motherboard is Gigabyte Ga 78LMT-S2PT rev 3.0. ( around 8 months old )

Solution
32-35C avg and 55-58 max are fine. I gather you increased fan speed.

Just in case, can you download and run HWInfo - Senors and post results?

My cpu temps are fine its 32-35 avg and 55-58 on max its motherboard temperature that worries me
http://
that are avg temp.

Not sure of this, but I think TMPIN0 is the the socket temp, TMPIN1 Case Temp, and TMPIN2 is the Chipset temp. For the CPU, you are looking for Core Temp. You are running an AMD processor and those things typically have a high TDP and tend to be a bit warm. Hard to believe that those temps are up there and the Core temps are what they are. I have a Desktop here with an Intel i7 960. The temps were fine except for the Northbridge temps, which were way to warm. In that case, I found that the Northbridge was not capped, which would have helped in heat dissipation. I cleaned off the old TMC and reapplied some fresh Quality TMC. Didn't do much good, and eneded up installing a fan on top of the heat sink which helped. When ther temps go up say on the socket, you are getting a big power draw somewhere, but surprised the CPU /core temps are fine.
